Meal plans WC 15/05/16

Hi Everyone, hope you've all had a good week?

Today is DS 17th birthday hence the take out, that comes from our entertainment budget though not our grocery budget.

Sunday-Dominos pizza take out using a 50% off code :D
Monday-Chick pea stir fry
Tuesday-Chick pea curry with turmeric rice
Wednesday-Chick pea dahl with HM flax seed flat breads
Thursday- Meat balls and chunky veg in a spicy sauce with cabbage "Spaghetti"
Friday-Chick pea and bacon burgers topped with cheese with salad
Saturday-Wrap pizzas with jalapeños and spicy pumpkin seeds and mozzerella

I LOVE chick peas and MR S has them for just 25p a tin this week :j So I bought 16 tins and I'm making full use of them :D

Breakfasts will be over night oats and I've made some lentil soup for lunches, just need to make some extra flax seed flat breads to go with it. Kids will take pies or sandwiches as they need the extra calories.

    Greetings and salutations,

I got back from my work trip yesterday, and other than tidying the house and unpacking, have been very lax in my planning.

I'm on flexi tomorrow and friday, so only really need to worry about 3 days, but have absolutely nothing fresh in the house and no cash to buy anything thanks to a new washing machine (being delivered today).

    Only 2 weeks to payday!

Monday - Faggots mash and peas

Tuesday - Baked potato, cottage cheese and beans

Wednesday - baked potato with scrambled hash (whatever I can find in the freezer and some eggs)

Thursday - Roast chicken, frozen veg, roast spudlies

Friday - white fish, mash, peas

Lunches will be frozen HM ready meals (pot luck), breakfasts for three days will be hard boiled eggs.
That sounds like a classic case of premature extrapolation.

Hey all :) This is my week.

M- Pesto pasta salad with green salad and cold roast chicken.
T - Pork meatballs with creamy (creme fraiche) lemon spaghetti.
W - Beef stir fry with hoisin sauce, served with noodles.
T - Spaghetti bolognese made with leftover roast beef.
F - Chicken tikka masala - all homemade :) Not so homemade for the kids - fish fingers, chips and beans.
S - Meatballs (beef) and spaghetti.
S - Roast Pork with potato salad and green salad.

Bought a YS chicken last week and roasted it to use for lunches which has turned out really well. Also decided last weekend it is now too hot for a proper roast dinner so I am roasting the meat (slow roast), might do it the night before, then serving it with salad.

Lunches are hummus and veg/pita, chicken wraps and eggs - not all at once ;)

Breakfast is currently toast and cereal, will work on that at some point but for now it will do.
