CASHPLUS, prepaid Mastercard help!

Hi, i'm new to this forum and need to ask a quickie question. I've applied for the Cashplus Prepaid mastercard and even though Ive studied the site, I am still a little unsure about it. Has anyone has one of these before and are they worth having?

Thanks in advance

Kim

  • I've looked at some prepaid cards just out of interest. From what I can see you have to pay the provider for the privelige of spending your own money which I fail to see the benefit of.

The only time I could ever see a need to have one would be if you only had a basic bank account with no debit card and *had* to make an online purchase with a credit/debit card. Other than that either use cash or a debit card and keep your money.

  • in my personal opinion i found cash plus to be too expensive.....

i went for the virgin card 2.9%

i felt cash plus were charging you loads for it being gold in colour... and to be hohnest it looks like a toy card......

but thats my opinion.... i have normal credit/debit cards... but use my virgin one online and for emergencies!
