Just been in Aldi, and they are selling a car cigarette lighter/USB adapter, with one of the USB sockets rated at 2.4 amps.
That should be powerful enough, to run our tablets. :cool:

I wanted a spare USB socket for satnav alongside phone charging so recently bought a "Anker 4.8A / 24W 2-Port Rapid USB Car Charger" on Amazon, that means 2.4A per port. It charges an iPad fine. About £6.0
