At a very reasonable price with around 60 good reviews but 9 very critical ones.... strange....0 -
You can, but in my experience, the replaced batteries never seem as good as the original set.
Just replaced my near 9yo Gigaset sextet with the latest version.0 -
On the other hand, when I bought a refurb BT8500 cordless phone (the clever spam call-blocking one) off Ebay, it had a fault: Would reboot itself all the time and seemed to have a rather short call time before expiring. In fact quite a few Amazon reviews complain of just this issue.
I replaced the supplied rechargeables with some Philips ready-to-use rechargeables and ever since, this phone has been perfect.0 -

Hello again! I ended up buying the Phillips 700 from 7dayshop. They might not perform as well as the original ones but my phones are literally NOT working so I hope these batteries can extend their lives for at least another year.... have not replaced them yet, need to read instructions first since I have NO IDEA as to how to charge them!0

I have NO IDEA as to how to charge them!
Charging them involves nothing more complicated than simply putting the phone on it's cradle for several hours (overnight is best).
To change the batteries see the photograph from post #2 of this thread. Open the cover by sliding it downwards, remove the old batteries and replace with new (making sure the contacts are the correct way round), close the cover by sliding it upwards.Job done.
Do ensure the new batteries get a full charge cycle before using the 'phone again.0
