Hello all!
Have been away for a while (new office, not able to be on t'internet).
Moneysaving for today -
*Worked from home, OK I'm using my leccy but reckon I've saved a fiver in lattes, newspapers on the train, vending snacks etc.
* Been on pigsback
* Sorted out my expenses from work (only £30 but better in my pocket)
* Eaten up food from fridge
* Come back on this website - hurrah!0 -
Pay day today but resisted the usual 'urge to splurge'. Had lunch on expenses today with work courtesy of a colleague (lovely expensive Starbucks at no cost to me!), but had to buy a bottle of water today (uneccessary expense) after getting dehydrated walking a 5 mile route for work wearing 2 layers of safety clothing (hmph!).
So, summary - pay day (good), free lunch (good), no bus fare to pay for as I was on-site (good), but had to spend £1.20 for something that I can get for free from a tap (boo).
Not bad I suppose.Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!0 -
Hi all,
Things for today::j
Charged mobile at work.
Found 1p
Used £1 in Boots points on another Giorgio Armani mens wash bag with shampoo and body wash. Ideal for XMas present/ STOCKING FILLER for DH.
Spent £6.02 in cash (£1.48 on gift card) getting 5 x memory cards at Boots but got £25.16 back in points. :T
Put in 4 lots of 7 photos to get developed (will use free vouchers so = £0)
Spent £22.50 in Boots points on Estee Lauder foundation for sisters birthday. Managed to get a mini sample of pore minimiser without booking a consultation (card was taken from Cosmo magazine a couple of weeks ago) as I said I wanted to give it to my sister.
Got a pair of JCB 4-5 year old trousers which were £13 but I must have only paid £4 for them (after using £1 off voucher). Not sure how as it only had a 1/2 price sticker so perhaps it had been further reduced but missing a sticker (not that I'm complaining).
Got the Sun paper with free Sun voucher.
Sold 3 out of the 5 items listed on Ebay.
Picked up 4 x small sample bottles of the new womans Hugo Boss perfume which is gorgeous.
Did my cashbag clicks so far and my usual 2 Mutual point clicks.
Oh and forgot to buy 2 baked potatoes for dinner so saved money without meaning to.
That's all.
