7.9.07 what small dfw thing will you do or have you done today?

Good Morning fellow DFW Peeps and welcome old timers and newbies alike :hello:

TGI Friday !!!!!

When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.

But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free.

Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging the washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.

So be proud of those small steps, they really are important.

So, today I will:
  • do piggy comps, clicks and surveys
  • send everyone off with packed lunches
  • check online banking and update spreadsheet
  • not increase my debt in any way
  • be positive
My big thing for today, following on from yesterday's "conversations" is to sort out the money corner in my house a la feng shui, and perhaps to buy a three legged toad to sit by my front door, so it welcomes money in the house!!

Have a good day everyone xx

    Morning:

    Today I am/have

    * Posted a birthday prezzie to my Grandad who's going to be 83 on Tuesday - managed not to spend anything which sounds mean but I sent him 3 photos of me, dd and dh in brand new photo frames we had.

    * Hanging washing outside as lovely day here in Prestatyn
    * Going to blitz the house so nice and clean for when dh comes home this evening from his week at uni - that's my exercise for the day
    * Am going out for lunch with a friend I haven't seen for ages but only going to have snack, can use vouchers and get Nectar points too.
