Vauxhall Mokka satnav issues anyone?
I'm wondering if anyone else is experiencing the problems I am with a Vauxhall Mokka satnav system?
Bought the car in July 2015 and the satnav has been faulty from day one. Unfortunately it took a little time to realise just how faulty it is, and I didn't know at the time about my rights to return the car within 4 weeks if faulty so missed that window.
The problem is that it crashes constantly. Sometimes after a few minutes of switching on, sometimes after 30 mins at least. It freezes, and then the whole entertainment system eventually crashes and reboots itself. It's completely unusable.
My attempts to get the issue sorted have been going on since last summer. The dealer hasn't helped at all, and Vauxhall are telling me that there's a software error and that they're still waiting for a fix 10 months later. They say because it's a software problem that there's no point replacing the entertainment system because the problem would reoccur. I'm finding this hard to swallow - they can't have an issue on every single satnav for every single one of their cars surely? I make contact with them at least every month but am continually fobbed off. The car is on finance but effectively I'm still paying extra each month for something that doesn't work.
I'm wondering if anyone else has had the same issue and if they've got anywhere with Vauxhall?
And does anyone know what my rights are here? I'm not getting anywhere with Vauxhall and don't really know what to do next.
