Am I still eligible to apply for credit card with a foreign based employer

My employer is a worldwide company but I am employed through the Norway office. I am and always have been UK resident and have good credit score and salary.
Just wondering if this fails criteria for some credit card companies before I apply. Don't want to get a black mark.
