Create Link in Forum

How do I create a link using a word rather than having to post the compete link, which can sometimes be quite long? I've tried by going to "Go Advanced" and double clicking a word, then clicking on "Create Link" and by selecting the link and then clicking "Create Link". Neither seem to work.

You can do it in the quick reply.

Just type your word, highlight it with the mouse. click and type the url in the popup block that appears.

Ah, now that is the prob, I do not get a pop-up box or block or anything.

In the top right hand corner of the compose message box is an icon for Switch Editor Mode. Click on that and see if the Insert Link icon now works ok.
