GMAC car finance

Back in 2006 I had a car loan with GMAC. I started it via a car dealer which no longer exists.
I have looked at this thread but the 2 links are now stale.
I don't appear to have my original paperwork, so cannot check if I had PPI on it.
Do I have any further options?

You can contact GMAC here https://www.uk.gmfinancial.com
Remember though it is the dealer you would need to complain to as they were the ones who sold you PPI. If they've gone out of business it would be the FSCS0 -
