241 Attraction tickets using train tickets a question

https://www.daysoutguide.co.uk/my-trip/claim-offers
Were going on holiday soon and would like to use the 241 ticket to Brighton pier and maybe some others.
We wont actually be using the train to travel but will go by car. Does anyone know if theres a way to buy a ticket and to and from where so that we can qualify for the offer as in still paying out for the train ticket we would still be saving quite an amount?
Also could these tickets be bought in advance from where I live? Many thanks in advance

Park your car one station away from Brighton and get the train.

The point of the offer is to stop people from driving into Brighton and parking where there is very limited parking. Parking is at a premium. You will probably save much more by taking the train than paying for parking.

Where were you going to park? http://en.parkopedia.co.uk/parking/attraction/brighton-palace-pier/

:p Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S) :p Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money. :p

Price of parking in Brighton train makes much more sense . I agree with the train it from a local station plan too.

I paid £25 for a long day in Brighton (afternoon and evening) in one of the central Brighton (council) carparks a couple of years ago.

Any national rail ticket office in the country is able to sell you any train ticket.

Or of course you can always buy online.

Looks like the plan will be to park in Hove for the day. Take the train then from Hove to Brighton. Many thanks for your help

I travel to London regularly, but on Monday both my husband and I had to put our single tickets into machines at barriers.
Because they were singles the machine keeps them.
So how do we use the 2for1 offers.

Do I need to find a manual operator to let me through and keep my ticket?

This would be very difficult in rush hour, but I guess I could hang behind until the hoardes have died down.

    Can anyone advise?

Always try to buy your train tickets in advance online... not only are you likely to get the best fares but you can get cashback. Best option at the moment is East Coast trains at 1.15% - which admittedly isn't much but better than nothing

Yes, that is exactly what you need to do.

There is always a member of staff supervising the barriers, you'll probably find him/her near the wide/luggage gate.

This may be a bit cheeky but could you buy the train tickets and not use them and still get the deal?
