Brightside car insurance...Views please

Bought car insurance from them but they claimed not to have received one piece of information about the additional driver despite it being loaded on their website. Also they ask for more information than I have ever had to supply to any insurance company and its almost like it is designed to trip up as many consumers as possible. They cancelled the policy at a cost of £77. I offered to send them the info again but they said they could not accept and I would have to take out a new policy.
I am now wondering if this is just their ruse to get money out of people without actually supplying a product.
I will be complaining to the FCA and the Financial services ombudsman about how they treat customers.

If true this is the bit you'll need to worry about.Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.0 -
they seem to be a broker rather than an insurance co.0

As said, your big problem is that they cancelled the insurance: Every time you get a quote you're asked if you've ever had any insurance declined or cancelled - answering 'yes' will put your future prices through the roof...0
