Leaking Peugeot 107

I have a 57 plate 107 and have water coming in from somewhere! The boot was wet and the drivers side passenger footwell is soaking.
Took the car to our local garage and they rescaled all around the car and this has sorted the boot issue, however, the footwell is still soaking. I have googled and it says it's a common fault but I am getting confused. What exactly needs to be changed/done? Is this something I (well my able father) can do or will it have to be done in a garage? Any ideas of costs?

Many thanks!

Common problem, more so on Aygo. Ours leaked from doors and around rear lights when we sold it.

A friend has just sold her 107 due to water ingress around passenger door. New door seals and additional rubber gutters above doors may help, our Aygo had them done and it worked for a few years, but the lights etc started leaking. I dismantled and tried to seal a number of times, but never found why water was still getting in.

They also leaked around door speakers so fixing it may take a while and may not even work.

A friend has similar on his 09 reg Civic. Its just started leaking and he thinks it's due to doorseal failure.

Blocked drain holes in the engine bulkhead are a good place to start looking, thats the void area between the engine and windscreen, sometimes under the wipers and the plastic cover that fits under the wipers.
I do Contracts, all day every day.
