Can you change/upgrade RBS Credit Card ?

Hi all,
I've had an RBS MasterCard since about 2013, it used to be a 0% balance transfer card, but obviously that ran out a while ago, so I've just been using it for day-to-day odds and ends, which is obviously earning no reward.
Running a few eligibility checks, I've not go much of a chance for many reward cards, just Asda and Tesco really. But, running the checker on the RBS website, I've got a 9/10 chance for all their cards, having been a C/A customer since 2012 is probably why I'm guessing.
I'd like to apply for the Rewards card or maybe the Low Rate card, but already having an RBS Credit Card, would I have to close that card, wait 6 months then apply ? or do they run an upgrade/card swap scheme where I could just convert my current card to a new one. Or, perhaps even open another one then close the old one ?
Thanks.

Ask on RBS online chat, they can even upgrade you on there.0

You can upgrade RBS credit cards, it is usually a case of calling the number on the back of the credit card, and asking to upgrade over the phone, they will check eligibility as you have already, and will run through the standard T&Cs over the phone and upgrade. Usually you will be sent a new style credit card in the post with 7 days after the upgrade.0
