help Needed to buy a good quality/cheap sat Nav

I have decided i need to invest in a satalite navigation System. Has anyone had any experiences of them? any recommendations on which company is the best? Tom Tom, navman, they all seem the same for me. Lastly, I need some guidance as to where to purchase? I have been told online is always cheaper than instore, please help!!

  • buy a my guide 3200 its only £100 i bought mines from halfords propably one of the cheapest looks like a tom tom very small before i bought it i read the reviews most were very positive so i bought one after buying it i have to say it is very reliable ive been to kent blackburn preston leicester lancashire with it no probs you could type the post code on it and its very easy to use once you get the hang of it and shall i tellyou something else if youre good at computers then you can buy a seperate 2gb sd card which you could get for £15 pounds and you could put the tom tom maps on it and also make it into a mp3 player like i have what a bargain the only downside is that the my guide dosent show cameras but what it does do is when you are speeding it says you are over the speed limit but when you put tom tom on it then you will get cameras on it .

Lee, Ebuyer have some offers on at the moment, it's worth a look.
This one has good reviews and that is what I tend to go buy.

Personally I'd go for the TomTom 910 - brilliant bit of kit & you can find it just over £200 now

I got a TomTom One v3 UK & Ireland from Makro last week for £135.
    Amazon have it for £127.
It is perfect for me and allows you to amend any errors such as street names etc.
It's also small enough to take out of the car when you park up.
If you're after a basic sat nav for UK & Ireland I would highly recommend this :D
