Bifold Doors

We are having bifold doors fitted in the next couple of months. I am very keen to have integral blinds as I can't think of any other window covering that will work as well, husband less keen as he thinks they spoil the look of the doors, they will be next to a wall at one end and an open plan staircase at the other, so no room for curtains.
Does anyone here have them please? If so, could you give me your thought on them. The doors will be south facing.

Been researching this recently too and i'm afraid i'm with your husband on this one. I had a play with some bifilds with integrated blinds the remote control ones were quite nifty, the magnetic ones seemed a bit of a faff and both just looked too 'officey' to me. I'm likely to go for roller blinds afterwards. This page gives an overview of the different options and has a few pictures to help you visualise: http://www.gemini-blinds.co.uk/news/which-blinds-are-suitable-for-bi-folding-doors/
Have you decided which make of bi-folds yet ?0 -
We have aluminium bi-folds and decided against blind/curtain. We also have a complete 'wall of glass' and had a film applied by the window company to reduce UV etc.
Is it privacy that you need?0 -
Are these internal bi-fold or external doors?Changing the world, one sarcastic comment at a time.0
