People can only say no. It's no different than the randoms you get knocking at your door asking for sponsorship when you dont even know them lol.

However, at the moment I'm waiting for charitiy commission to approve teh new MSE Charity Fund (which I hope is just a formality) and I'm holding off on all charity things until then.

Apparently, someone phoned and asked if they could have one of our Gold Bond places in our local half-marathon. My colleague who deals with this said yes of course - and then the caller said "But I don't want to raise money for you, I want to raise it for X charity."
We thought that was a bit cheeky, and you can understand why charities ask for a minimum fundraise!
