    No probs .

PM Martin, see if you can have it made sticky in this section & possibly a mention in a newsletter to spread the word.

People can only say no. It's no different than the randoms you get knocking at your door asking for sponsorship when you dont even know them lol.

Good luck at getting in, keep us informed.

I knew i'd be number 1 at something eventually in my life lol, werhoo, can tick that off my list now.

Hi. It s a great suggestion

However, at the moment I'm waiting for charitiy commission to approve teh new MSE Charity Fund (which I hope is just a formality) and I'm holding off on all charity things until then.

I know there are probably lots of hare brained schemes out there, but here is a way to get us all noticed!

Perhaps there could be a MSE team of runners ;-)
If so count me in! :)

Apparently, someone phoned and asked if they could have one of our Gold Bond places in our local half-marathon. My colleague who deals with this said yes of course - and then the caller said "But I don't want to raise money for you, I want to raise it for X charity." We thought that was a bit cheeky, and you can understand why charities ask for a minimum fundraise!

Oh it drives me mad when people do that:mad: . Luckily it's only happened to me twice, and neither for 'big' races
