I received a suspicious text on my mobile from GOV. The message stated: "We have been trying to contact you regarding a tax refund. Apply now. http://tax-bax.gov.ref32.org/refund.html
I went to the page out of interest and it looks official, using the HMRC formatting within the page.

This ^^^ link is not a scam.
'tax-bax'?HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) will never use texts or emails to:- tell you about a tax rebate or penalty
- ask for personal or payment information
Really? :rotfl:0 -
And
" tax refund of £265.84 GBP"
Anyone taken in by such a text probably shouldn't be allowed to have access to money anyway.0
