Changing Energy Suppliers when you have solar panels?

Hi there,
Quick question, couldn't see anything with a search so apologies if its already been asked and answered.
I currently have solar panels and get FIT cash back via British Gas. This was because Sainsburys (under British Gas) was my supplier when I got the panels installed.
I then changed to British Gas as an energy supplier because I got an alert via the MSE Energy Club that a BG tariff was cheaper.
But, I'm now getting alerts about cheaper tariffs not with BG or Sainsburys.
How does it work with my solar panels? If I was to change supplier do I still get my FIT cashback via British Gas or am I meant to change that too?
How does this work with the FIT amounts? If I was to change would I still get the same FIT per unit rate that I'm on now or would it drop to the current sign on FIT unit rate amount?
Thanks,

You can change your supplier without needing to change who pays your FITS payments.
You will still get the same rates of payment.
Done it recently; EDF still pay FITs promtly, but now get electric supplied from E.on & gas from Zog as they had better tariffs, with lower standing charges.0 -
