I just wanted to share with you an experience my Shar Pei (Eric) had recently after having a Bob Martin worming treatment.
I followed the instructions and treated Eric to make sure he was protected. Within 5 hours of his treatment he was violently sick a number of times, he was unable to hold water down, became motionless and didn't want to walk or play. His health went down hill quickly, for a 6 month old pup he was like a 13 year old dog!! After a day of continued sickness I had to take him to the vet. They told me that they have a few dogs in who have reactions to the product and I should stay away from them.
I wrote to Bob Martin to make sure no other dogs suffered and they looked into the product. They came back and as a good will gesture offered to pay half of th vet treatment. I declined as I wanted full payment for vets bills as this was a direct result of using their product. I made reference to the fact I had seen other posts (after I had seen Eric's reaction) with similar stories! They sent me a letter back to suggest that this wasn't the case!!
I am keen to see if others are still suffering from using this product and if so we should share so Bob Martin do something about their products and the safety of them.

Its well known on this forum that Bob Martins' products are sometimes injurious or fatal for pets. So much so, that we regularly get threads closed down as people are rightly furious that their much loved pets have been harmed by this horrible nasty company!
They even sent a company representative on to the forum who tried to say that 'Pets can sometimes have a 'reaction' to any form of medication and that their product were not harmful'. Which is the company line - my sons vet phoned the company after his cat Felix was very badly burned by the application of a Bob Martins Spot-On. He was gobsmacked to find that the company absolved themselves of all blame and wouldn't even investigate as to whether that 'batch' had been contaminated'.
I don't think supermarkets really care whether the products are harmful to pets. They are legal and they make money.
So - pet owners - time for the warning again..............Do NOT use Bob Martins products.................0 -

Bob Martin products are well known for causing terrible suffering and even death to animals - it is beyond me how on earth are they still allowing this to happen. This company should be shut down.0

I learned the hard way with a flea collar which gave the dog an open sore on her neck within 24 hours of having it on.
To be fair, the vet did say they wouldn't recommend any flea collars, for that reason. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0
