Residential Status

in Credit cards
I've recently moved in with my partner and am confused about my residential status, particularly for credit applications.
I moved into his house, which he owns with a mortgage (all in his name) and I pay him a set lump sum each month to contribute to the household bills. He then pays for the mortgage, bills, food shops etc.
Would I be classed as a 'Homeowner', since we live together as a couple and he owns the house, or 'Private Tenant' since I'm paying him money to live there and am not on the mortgage (even though there is no 'rent' money exactly, just a contribution towards general expenses).
