I received a voicemail earlier "Hello, we're following up on the enquiry you made last year, if you still require our services, please call..."
It was an online enquiry made in November. 6 months for a call back is impressive stuff.

Mine is not quite so impressive, I've been waiting well over 3 months now for my business account to be set up. I passed the credit check and was promised a call within 24 hours, which never came. I phoned and was promised a call in 24 hours, which never came etc, so I gave up and made a formal complaint.
Got an emai, to say they took my complaint very seriously and someone would contact me within 24 hours- and that didn't happen.
I called again and insisted my complaint was escalated and this time I did get someone call me back and explain it was all in hand and I would get a call again within 24 hours with details of my account....that was 2 days ago and I'm still waiting.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. It's the same department. I had a similar experience too. They were sending me an email straight away, I waited a week and asked again. I don't really understand what their problem is. I'd have thought privatisation would have shaken up that side a bit. Surely getting new business is a priority?
I finally got an email today, it isn't what I was expecting, but at least it is a start. At this rate it will be about 4-5 months between being credit checked and actually having a useable account.
As you say, seems like a strange way to attract more business. In fact I asked about parcels and was told that they can't beat MyHErmes so stick with them for anything other than large letters.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. It's about 10 years ago since I signed up for my account, along with daily collection, and it was much quicker - probably about 2 - 3 weeks including credit checking, I think. Communications still weren't that hot though - I only knew that it had definitely all been set up OK when a postie arrived on my doorstep to collect my mail, with zero prior notice!
Hope you both manage to get sorted soon0 -
