Which resort to choose?
Accommodation?

Last year it was ok - if you are referring to the migrant crisis. We had friends who went.
As for resorts - if you want peace and relaxation, I recommend the Christina apartments in Mastichari or the Luis.
If you want party town - the opposite coast with Kardamena is where you need.
Car hire is good, the roads are great, with one main road which runs the entire length of the island, making it easy to get around.
Recommend the day trip to the volcanic island of Nyssiros and a visit to Kos Town is a must.
