Hi all,
i need help for a friend
He has asked me to find out the price of shares for
shell transport and trading company limited for the 1st december 1990
i have no idea what places to look
have searched shell website google and ask.co.uk but no luck
does any one know this infomation or a place i can find it out
my friend is not able to use the internet so asked me to look
i think he has shares in the company

Stock market was not open on 01/12/90 but Yahoo is good for historical prices.

If he needs this information for capital gains tax purposes then a reference book called Extel capital gains tax has all the information necessary for rights issues, bonus issues etc. This would be available in larger reference libraries I imagine - we used to have a copy in the firm of accountants where I worked.

Not sure if the Company's Registrars (detailed on dividend vouchers or in annual reports) would have this information?
