GE Money/Anglian Home Improvement PPI Claim

Options
Hello,
Back in 1999 I took out a loan to pay for my whole house to be double glazed etc. The loan was taken out with GE Money with the source finance GE10 Yr with PPP with CIF. I have tried to do a PPI claim but GE Money are saying they have no record of me on their system which is understandable considering the loan was taken out back in 1999. I have no paperwork apart from a print of the ‘Anglian Order Form’ showing that I had taken out this loan.

GE Money is asking me to supply a copy of the credit agreement, which I don’t have as I destroyed it when I paid off the loan. I am wondering if there is anything else I can do? I have done a SAR and also asked them how far their Archives go back but with no success. Is there any kind of centralised database/library of credit agreements that I could interrogate? Any help or advice will of course be appreciated.
Thanks
Dan

17 years on, you have no chance of getting anywhere with this unless you have comprehensive documentation from your own archive. The "order form" on it's own is worthless.

    There is no centralised database.
