  • Contact the court with your reference- If you look at registry trust it will tell you which court- likely to be CCBC or CCMCC and they will be able to tell you the details. If it is something you owe then if you make payment within a month ofthe CCJ being issued the CCJ will be cancelled and removed from your record, otherwise you will have to look at applying to set aside if wish to contest it.

Thanks for all the replies I really appreciate it.

I just paid the £4 to check trustonline and it isn't saying anything. 'Nothing Registered' is all it says. Maybe it is too soon to see it, or should it update immediately? On Experian it (which put it on my file today) it says it was done on the 5th May.

I'm pretty worried now that bailiffs are going to turn up to the old place, or here infact! It's a 77 year old man who lives there alone now. Should I tell him?

I'm on 12 hour shifts until Friday I'll have too try and ring the court in my lunch break, which I'd rather not do but I can't leave it until Monday. It will drive me crazy.
