Morning Ziggy,
Bet you've got a soggy wet day as well. Cat hasn't moved yet......well, not since he barged into our bedroom first thing to dry his rainy fur on our duvet!!

Evening everyone. :hello:
I'm tired. Didn't have time to check in this morning - was struggling to force myself up and out to work in time. All in a good way though - I'm just enjoying life too much generally to want to sleep at the moment... I am trying to look at it that way rather than not having enough hours in the day.

Evening all
Thanks for starting us off PF:)
Bleurrgh, it has been horrible here today, torrential rain all day - just cleared up now. Feeling a bit low, and looked after little GD, who will now not sleep during the day unless you take her out in her pushchair, even though she is shattered atm because she hasn't been sleeping well at night. So we bit the bullet and took her, the dog and umbrellas out for a walk to the post office in the rain, and all got wet. Still, she did doze off for about 25 minutes, which was enough to give her a bit of a boost - and enable me to stay sane :rotfl: If I have heard 'come ON Grandma' once today.....
At least the dog managed to walk, despite the rain. He was determined not to be left behind; I thought I would have to sling him into the pushchair with the little one, but he managed to walk / swim / paddle all the way :rotfl:
Not much done apart from a very wet walk:
GD and I made a preposterous looking cake this morning, with cream, jam, tinned cherries and lots of gold and silver sprinkles. She thought it was a 'beautiful cake' - looked a bit of a dogs dinner to me, but it tastes ok :rotfl:
Also made a sponge flan case and froze that (using up eggs)
Posted ebay item sold yesterday. No sales yet today sadly.
Not spent anything apart from postage for ebay item, and the buyer has paid for that
HM meals from stores
Not found any surveys today
And apart from putting all the toys away and drying the dog, that is about it! Hoping to feel more energetic tomorrow.0 -
PurpleFairy Thank you for starting us off today.
Foxgloves I became so fed up with being specially selected for surveys that I was not eligible for that I have been having a long break, every now and then I think I should get back to this as I liked the rewards but the tedium and getting irritated by rejected I don't know if I can justify it as a good use of my time.
MTC I wish you lots of luck in tackling you smoking addiction.
OH's back is still bad, slight improvement but he tires easily, the only one surprised by this is him.
Today I have been exhausted and feeling on the verge of tears, no idea why. My sister was at the same HE group as us today, I mentioned it to her and she said she felt the same, equally with no idea. Hope I feel better tomorrow as we have a lot to do and we are looking after my 2 1/2 year old niece, which will be lovely and tiring in equal measure.
Today I:
