  • So glad all went well at Daveys funeral, how different your
his 18 year old grand daughter from my sons daughter. His service was a farce.

You will need a rest to recover, so take it easy for the rest of this week. 2000 miles is no joke. We travelled to Poitiers some years ago, it took us 2 days both ways.

It has stopped raining, the sun is trying to break through and the frost warning for tomorrow is off, so I will not have to re load all the plants back into the plant house tomorrow.

Jackie I'm so glad it all went well; it sounds like Steve was a real tower of strength. Welcome home - take a couple of days to just recover from such a long journey.

Speky hoping your Gran rallies round. Must be such a worrying time for you.

I had one very, very soggy Cairn Terrier earlier. Rain or no rain, she still wanted her walk. "Oi, Scampi! Grow a pair! Getting wet is FUN! - love, Dotty "
The towel she'd brought wasn't really adequate so I've loaned her one of ours. That's how wet she was! Thank goodness for Mr LW's wet weather gear - waterproof hooded jacket and trousers. Not very elegant, but in that rain, who the heck cares! :D
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

Our car has got a name. Each family car i usually give it a name but hubby has had this car a few months now and it hasnt got a name so hubby has named it. He has name it ... wait for it.... 'Holiday'.

Why has he called it Holiday? Because keeps having to have time off work to get it fixed.

Its in the garage again on Friday.:(

Been pottering around indoors and done a good bit of 'feet-upping', I did try to watch a bit of tv this evening ,but keep nodding off,and missing bits :) so I am going to take myself off to bed in a minute and then if I nod off it won't matter. I hate falling asleep in the chair, then being wide awake when its time for bed.
So Good Night ,God bless all here

Have been offline for a few days and only now getting back on....will take me ages to catch up.

JackieO.....so sorry to hear of Davey's death, glad that you were able to get to funeral and that you had back up all the way.....you're a tough lady, but take care of yourself for a few days, these things have a way of catching up.....much love.

Nmlc....sorry to hear of your bereavement.

Had a lovely pedicure today, courtesy of a voucher from DD4 and family...have booked myself in for a facial next week, feel like a little pampering as I've been a bit down lately, reckon all that's needed is a kick up the arris as there is no reason for me to be down.

Thanks for info on twin thing Hester...C and M now like me to pick them both up when I visit, they have had 'slapped cheek syndrome' this week so were a little grumpy.

Hugs to all in need or want of some, sleep well,

    Marie

PS....cant seem to thank anyone anymore.....solutions??
