Two bedroomed apartment in the Canaries

Hi I wonder if anyone can help with my search this year.

We are a family of four, kids 18 & 14, looking to fly from any NW airport to Fuertaventura (but any of the Canary islands would do ) for two weeks from around 21st July self catering preferably

Previously we've all squashed in together but this year we would rather have a two bed apartment and I'm having trouble searching for that. How do you filter out the places with two bedrooms rather than just one plus sofa beds? Usually we choose a large hotel near the sea so something along those lines really but I'm struggling and going round in circles and getting nowhere.

Anyone have any ideas or recommendations?

thanks in advance x

Paloma Beach in Los Cristianos have 2 bed apartments
As does Cristian Sur, Atlantic Horizons manage a few there and will send you photos of the actual apartment
Change is inevitable, except from a vending machine.

Hotel San Jorge - Thomas cook, Caleta De fuste. They had 2 bed apartments at last glance. I think the Barcelo beach resort has a few larger bungalows - have a look on their website maybe?

You will struggle for SC in fuerteventura - maybe get a villa instead of an apartment on a complex if you're adament you want SC - at the San Jorge it was an extra £35 for the week each to go AI from SC. Well worth it for the soft drinks, ice cream and snacks.

And I'd also speak to a travel agent to get the knowledge of where has 2 bed apartments in the resorts you want. They are usually more expensive because there are fewer of them.

That's reminded me of another one

Oasis Dunas in Corralejo have 2 bedroom apartments

have you looked at the usual suspects such as Owners Direct, holidaylettings, homeaway ?

we normally book apartments through one of these sites, which tend to have very good descriptions, you can also ask detailed questions of the owner/letting agent

Look for your accommodation as soon as possible, the Canaries are packed this summer, operators are reporting business is much stronger than usual, you should have no problem with flights, apart from the price but finding accommodation will be the real issue

Parque Santiago III & IV in Playa de las Americas, Tenerife have 2 bedroom appartments. I would add that the 1 bedroom duplex we stayed in in June 2014 was perfect. On the ground floor there was a toilet, kitchen and lounge with double sofa bed. On the first floor there was a bedroom and bathroom/wc. Both levels had balconies.

If you amend the number of passengers to be 5 or 6 adults it should then show up two bed / larger apartments, it's not often you can get 6 adults in a one bed apart. Obviously the price will be incorrect but you can then work out where you fancy and change the passengers back to normal to see what the price for 4 would be.

Thanks everyone, we are sorted. Couldn't find availability at the ones mentioned so did as Lea suggested which worked perfectly. Have ended up with a little two bedroomed villa in the grounds of a nice hotel in Fuertaventura, right near the beach.

its all inclusive as well which I thought would be too dear but it was only £500 extra for all of us for a fortnight and as Dom Ravioli said we will probably eat and drink that in snacks alone.

Thanks again for you help. You lot are fab!
