You can do a search for ownership by name using land registry form PN1. Details are here:

I think the fee is £11. You can only search for yourself or with the consent of the person being searched for, which is of course not a problem for you, but just a heads up for anyone else interested in the process.0 -
Hi Guys, thanks for your help...the house is in a trust with my other cousins that is released when she dies...is it worth going to the CAB or should I just call benefits?
