Deep clean cost

Hi,
We are moving hopefully at the end of the month and are hoping to get it deep cleaned before we move in - the previous owner was a heavy smoker and it has been empty for a couple of months. I have been getting some quotes and two are very different, for what appears to be the same service - one is £120, and one is £550, for deep clean including carpet cleaning.
Does anyone have any advice on what we should be looking at roughly please?
Thanks

The £550 quote are probably used to quoting on vague commercial jobs where they often get away with it.
Picture one person doing the job, including commercial carpet cleaners, oven clean. Do you think 1 day for 1 person sounds reasonable?
If so, base your expectations on that. And get one more quote anyway.0 -
You couldn't do a whole house on your own in 1 day if your including oven and carpets, heavy smoker house will need every wall and ceiling washed down thoroughly. They will need some equipment and chemicals, I'd say any quote below £300 would not be doing a full clean.Mr Generous - Landlord for more than 10 years. Generous? - Possibly but sarcastic more likely.0

Paid £250 when I moved into my home. 3 bedrooms (but small) semi detached house in the south.
Lady said it was 250 for her to do a 12 hour clean or 300 for 2 people to do a 8 hour day but either way she wasn't too fussed.
Included a window cleaner coming out separately, an oven clean and window ledges outside.
I didn't want carpet cleaning (ripped up within a week) so saved some money there.
She washed down all the walls/door frames/doors inside all cabinets kitchen appliances, skirtings etc. She did a great job actually considering she was on her own and let me tell you the house needed ALOT of work. She even got rid off spider eggs and fixed 2 windows that wouldn't open. The kitchen had 8 years of not being cleaned so was thick with grime and grease.
I've a strong stomach but I couldn't bring myself to do it and I love cleaning, which is why I paid someone. I went for a small local self employed business and looked at reviews first.
What do your 2 quotes have that are similar? Maybe one will be doing extra pieces that aren't needed, or maybe that are. I'd send pictures if you can and be honest.
£250 to me, was a fair price, but I would of paid double that just to feel more comfortable for my first few weeks living here. It would have taken me a lot of time to do what she did in a day.0 -

Wow! Whereabouts in the south and does she want some more business? That sounds like incredible VFM to me!0
