How to unjam a shredder?

I tried to shred too many sheets of paper at once and have now jammed the shredder. Half of the paper is jammed inside the machine, and the other half hanging outside.

try getting the bulk of it out with a pair of tweezers(-its quite a satisfying job if you're twisted like me!!) unplug it first of course! then keep trying to run it through and see if you've unclogged it. This method usually works unless the paper is wrapped round the central cog bit ( not very technical!) then its a case of being brave and unscrewing it and getting right in there with the tweezers!
