Help - baby sick in car
Options
Hi,
Not really a motoring problem But while looking after my nephew today age 1 he decided to be very sick over my back seat, I have taken the seat out and washed it with soapy water and left it to dry, I also washed the seatbelts etc, The bad news is the car still stinks of sick after leaving the windows open for 4 hours, The seat has been out all day is still wet and still stinks ... any suggestionsa that arent going to bleach my upulstry ?
Any help appreciated.

The miracle cure for spilt milk in the car is to leave a bowl of vinegar in the footwell overnight. So I presume that the 1 year old may have puked milky stuff? The man without a signature.0

Sprinkle some biological washing powder down, leave a few mins, rub in with a damp cloth, leave to dry then hoover up.
The bio breaks up organic enzymes and gets rid of the pong.Work like you don't need money,Love like you've never been hurt,And dance like no one's watchingSave the cheerleader, save the world!0 -
my sympathy, i have had this problem many times and someone suggested putting a peeled onion in the car and leaving it. it seems to absorb the smell.
yes it does leave a onion smell for a while but that awful sick smell goes.2013

Onions will get rid of the smell but the onion itself stinks, you could try febreze,or do what Lloyd did in ,in his taxi and cover up the smell with a dead skunk:D

Excellent well i finish work late tonight but asda will still be open (I have washing machien liquid not powder and its non bio) Im going to go for a DIY Febreeze effect some bio powder + Viniger + Hot water in a spray bottle (just need the powder so very money saving). whats the odds on getting pulled driving late at night all windows down and a missing back seat :-)If it doesnt pay rent sell it.
