    Check the card statements?

Which you should have been doing each month you received them ;)

If not you'll need to ask each lender.

For store cards with Burtons, DP, Top Shop, Debenhams etc the Santander > FOS > Genworth route is currently proving successful for claimants reclaiming PPI plus interest from old store cards from around 2000.

Santander PPI team are helpful and can often provide account numbers over the phone if you provide your name and address.

You then need to send a PPI Questionnaire.

Genworth (the underwriter) have taken over the historic liability for the old Arcadia group of stores' PPI. Their address is on the link.
Please be polite to OPs and remember this is a site for Claimants and Appellants to seek redress against their bank, ex-boss or retailer. If they wanted morality or the view of the IoD or Bank they'd ask them.
