i used a ppi company to reclaim my ppi, i was advised to contact the lender on various occasions by this ppi company therefor doing their job. should i ask for a discount on my final bill as they take 20% of the claim.

    Nope. You were always going to need to do all the work. They just sold you the stamp to post off your complaint.

    All the CMC does is send your complaint in. i.e. putting the form in an envelope and posting it to the same address you would use if you were posting it yourself. So, they did their job.

    Your post is a perfect example of how little Claims Companies actually do.

    Of course you had to provide all the information and the actual complaint.

    Of course you'll also have to pay the legally agreed fee. You'll get no discount.
