Debt recovery plus Ltd

Hoping someone can give me some guidance on this. Several years ago (around 2011) my ex gave me his car. Admittedly I forgot to change the owners details for about 18 months but once my mistake was realised I did it.
Anyway I digress.
Last week my ex receives 3 parking fines fron debt recovery plus Ltd for the car overstaying it's welcome in an Asda car park local to myself. I live in rural north wales and he lives in London. The tickets are for dates in 2011 and 2012. And anoint to £360.
Neither of us has had any other form offine/ticket from smart parking or debt recovery plus Ltd. Obviously being a lady of a certain age I have no memory of parking at Asda on any of those dates.
Being as it's a long time ago, the fact that the fines have gone to a previous keeper and we haven't had any other notice of this am I required to pay them, is there a time limit etc?

b: DR+ is a toothless debt collector that cannot start court proceeding

C: smart parking have recently been removed from asda , they are doing a "hoover" exercise to get what money they can


d: how many times has smart been to court?
