GAP insurance

Hi everyone, I just took out a personal loan to buy a new car. Is it best to take out GAP insurance and is it possible when buying via a personal loan?. I'm already a customer of ALA GAP insurance who insured me for my last car which was on PCP.

Have a word with ALA, they have a lot of different GAP schemes so may have a suitable one or they may be able to transfer your existing policy

They're quite active on social media eg Twitter and have a dedicated thread to answer questions on PistonHeads forum. You could also try there as companies tend to go the extra mile when they have an audience.
