Hi my ESA 50 form was due in by 12th April and i completed it and sent it off in time however i still havent heard if my ESA will be renewed or not.
My DLA is also due to expire in September and i thought i would have had PIP forms through by now, I take it the DWP has a massive backlog?
Suffering from Paranoid Schizophrenia its a major concern with whats happening and where im going to get money from and causing me alot of stress.

I am afraid it is a waiting game and depending on where you live there is no way of knowing either about the ESA or the change to PIP when you will hear.
You could ring and enquire about your ESA. At the very least you could check that they have received the form. They might have some news.
I wouldn't do anything about the change from DLA to PIP. Let 'sleeping dogs lie'.
I know it isn't easy when you are worried but your current payments will remain the same until you are reassessed so no problems about that.0 -
It took about 6 weeks for me to hear back after sending my ESA50 form back, they continued to pay me while I waited so I wouldn't worry.A straight line may be the shortest distance between two points, but it is by no means the most interesting.0
