Confused about PIP Q13. Going Out.

I am just about to fill in the PIP questionnaire and having read through it I am already confused about question 13 because it is split into 3 parts a,b & c, all of which have Yes, No & Sometimes boxes. Do I only have to answer one of these and leave the rest blank ?
For example I can't answer Q13b because it asks if I need help from another person to get to a location that is unfamiliar to me . I can't go anywhere that is unfamiliar to me even with support from another person , so Yes, No or Sometimes just doesn't apply , it would be a lie to tick any , so I am hoping I can leave this blank .
Any help appreciated , thanks.

I ticked No, No, Yes then explained why.0

I would be less inclined to leave it blank and put to no to the 'unfamiliar' question. You have plenty of room for explanations whether or not you leave it blank.
When filling In PIP forms DWP have to be spoon fed - they simply cannot make assumptions.Master Apothecary Faranell replied, “I assure you, overseer, the Royal Apothecary Society dearly wishes to make up for the tragic misguidance which ended so many lives. We will cause you no trouble. We seek only to continue our research in peace".0 -
Is there space anywhere on the form for additional information. If so, I would leave them blank and explain the situation in the additional information. If there is no space, I would still leave blank and attach additional information to the relevant page.0

This is from the CAB advice guide:
"Question 13b
Do you need help from another person, guide dog or specialist aid to get to a location that is unfamiliar to you?
Yes
No
Sometimes
You should probably tick "yes" if:
you need help but don't get it
someone helps or encourages you to go out
someone goes out with you
your mental condition makes using a bus or train difficult
you can't plan a route to an unfamiliar place yourself
you find it difficult to cope with unexpected changes to a journey - for example, bus diversions, train cancellations "
I think it is important to explain fully in the narrative boxes. It is likely that at some stage you would need to go to an unfamiliar place, or a local place for the first time. You couldn't do this on your own - so would need help.
Do have a look at the adviceguide.
If you can it may be worth contacting your local CAB to get help to complete it.
It is helpful to be aware of the points-based criteria of a PIP award when completing the form:

Benefits & Work have a really good guide to claiming PIP. It may well be worth subscribing, if you can't get to your local CAB by the PIP form deadline.
Good Luck.
PS. As Cyclamen says if you tick No, the DWP will take this as meaning that you CAN get to an unfamiliar place on your own. You can't - so I think Yes (I would need help) is the most accurate tickbox.Alice Holt Forest situated some 4 miles south of Farnham forms the most northerly gateway to the South Downs National Park.0 -
I would tick yes as you need help.. NO makes it sound like you can manage.
I would then explain the level of help, that might make it possible.. even if thats stretcher transfer, private ambulance and an empty destination.. just be honest .
or just write 'totally bedbound' unable to go out in the comments box0
