I know it's an old clich!, but have you shut down and restarted your computer? That often solves a multitude of issues.... DaveHappily retired and enjoying my 14th year of leisureI am cleverly disguised as a responsible adult.Bring me sunshine in your smile0

I know, this doesn't answer the question, but wouldn't it be better to use a bookmarks toolbar instead?0

Unpin everything and start again? The pinned items is controlled by a file and this file has a habit of becoming corrupted.
Or preferably get rid of pinned items completely and restore the original "Quick Launch" toolbar that we all know and love.
To do this right click the taskbar, uncheck the taskbar lock, select toolbars, select "new toolbar", then navigate to "C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch", move it to where you want it and then relock the taskbar.
Now you can basically use the old way of dragging shortcuts into the quicklaunch and be rid of this !!!!!! pinning business for good.
Yes, I got rid of the pinned nonsense almost as soon as I installed Win7.“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”
