Flight from Amsterdam to London -EXPENSIVE

Hi all

I am looking for a flight for my family to come visit me but all the websites i check are about £103 per person , it has to be Schippol & preferably heathrow

easyjet is the cheapest at about £66 but then the have to wait for 12 hours before a fllight

i have checked

try https://www.flyvlm.com but its from London City not heathrow.
also i dont think they do saturday flights.

It is basically a train and ferry offering. May take a bit longer but it may also be cheaper.

There are only two airlines who operate from Schipol to Heathrow; BA and KLM

Included in this fare are the taxes/fees/charges of £50 (each flight is only £23!)

It's worth remembering that each airport sets it's own costs and LHR is the most expensive in the UK - so regardless of whether you fly BA or KLM, the price you pay will be about the same

If you want/need cheaper, you'll have to use a different 'London' airport. Airlines who serve London City Airport (LCY) operate very limited schedules at weekends as the airport is primarily used by business travellers

we stay about 15min by car from heathrow , but if gatwick is alot cheaper then i could also drive there

Have you considered Luton? easyJet are quoting under £50rtn which is quite a bit cheaper

Doubt if you'll do better than https://www.easyjet.com & it'd be a MUCH easier car journey to Luton Airport, rather than Gatwick!

Thnx to all i have decided that the saving at easyjet are just too good so i will be picking my family up from luton & then droping them of at gatwick hen they go home

PS: gatwick is kinda easier for me to get to than Luton , Lunton is far but by going for easyjet i save £90 and i can drive really far for that amount fo fuel !!
