Cheers me dear... btw I hope you are selling with a working boiler!

Will we get another update when you move?

Yes the new build boiler is still working after nearly 8 years and the house hasn't fallen down either. :)

Will keep you updated. Just going through the drudgery of doing all the little jobs to get it ready for viewings.
I forgot moving was such a pain in the !!!.

    Don't be a stranger Really!

Really (pun intended) glad to hear you're doing well.

It's funny as we're just about to get on the mortgage treadmill. I don't envisage us being on it for long though.

How do mortgage repayments compare to rents (take it this is Sydney)?

Best of luck with that. I have been on the treadmill now for 15 years towards the end of this year! I have done my time. :)

Moving to the ACT where rents are more expensive and prices are lower.

Rents are a lot cheaper than mortgages in Sydney, in fact I heard an interview with a pretty successful entrepreneur here who described Sydney rents as a great gift from LLs to his company.

In the ACT it is considerably cheaper to buy than rent.

Canberra? Changing locations? All the best! (I hope you're not commuting to Sydney)

That's the plan: a weekly commute.
