Will we get another update when you move?
Yes the new build boiler is still working after nearly 8 years and the house hasn't fallen down either.
Will keep you updated. Just going through the drudgery of doing all the little jobs to get it ready for viewings.
I forgot moving was such a pain in the !!!.0 -
Don't be a stranger Really!
Really (pun intended) glad to hear you're doing well.
It's funny as we're just about to get on the mortgage treadmill. I don't envisage us being on it for long though.0 -

Best of luck with that. I have been on the treadmill now for 15 years towards the end of this year! I have done my time.0 -
How do mortgage repayments compare to rents (take it this is Sydney)?
Moving to the ACT where rents are more expensive and prices are lower.
Rents are a lot cheaper than mortgages in Sydney, in fact I heard an interview with a pretty successful entrepreneur here who described Sydney rents as a great gift from LLs to his company.
In the ACT it is considerably cheaper to buy than rent.0
