Well have been doing what I said I would do, (paying off the mortgage as fast as I could) now the time is upon me. As soon as I made the decision I thought of yourselves.

I am selling up and going mortgage free!
The time is now right financially and for the family (moving to area with great secondary school for my child)
Have enough collateral for 3-4 bed detached and no mortgage so feels a no brainier now.

House goes on the market next week. So hopefully may be all done and dusted for the start of the next school year.

Hope you are all well, will keep you updated.

Sorry I didn't 'hang your picture on my wall', but I bet its 'good to be back' (that probably isn't very PC anymore, but I struggle to split GG's music from his actions).

No, Slightly nearer work (13 miles instead of 15). I drive to work but the town I am going to has a train station as well. Not that regular trains but gives commuting options should I ever change jobs.
