The Bay Filey new charges

Is anyone an owner at The Bay Filey and has received a letter this morning asking to pay £50 per annum to have the house sign remain in situ and another £50 per annum to keep the Key safe?

Whilst I appreciate the Bay has to keep an appearance that as owners we all want to maintain I am disappointed and very surprised to have received this letter and only be given 10 days to resolve the situation (ie remove said signs or pay the fee!). The Bay is not objecting to the signs as if you pay the money they can stay but I am not sure I understand how the £50 was calculated and why all of a sudden this has come about.

Are there any other owners who are equally 'Disappointed'? I am proposing to write to them to ask to further clarification but wondered if other owners felt the same?

We find it very small minded and unprofessional also. The do not seem interested in the image they create themselves or The Bay itself.
