Hi there a friend of mine has asked me if I know what type of dog this is that's featured in this French music video.
I just said it was a husky as that's all I know.

I wonder if anyone knows the exact type of husky (if it is a husky)!

Thanks in advance!

If you don't get an answer, there's a poster called Huskyrunner who you could pm and ask as s/he has several and seems quite an expert on them.

A few screenshots to save people skipping through the video.

Looks quite Husky to me. A little broad in the head, but it could just be from a line of broad headed Huskies. Otherwise, Husky x Malamute aren't too uncommon and that could contribute to the head shape.

"Husky" is mainly used to refer to a Siberian Husky. A bit like how people just say Collie, meaning a Border Collie (as opposed to Bearded, Rough, Shetland, etc)

I agree it looks very big to be a husky. Definitely some malamute in there.
