Travel insurance: age

This may seem a silly question, but I don't know where to start on the travel insurance page. There are various age bands. Do you go by the age you are when taking out the insurance, or the age when you will be travelling? This seems especially important in my case, because I an 64 now but will be 65 (an age when everything seems to change) by the date I travel.

I would suggest you start with 64 but when you have found a suitable product at a price you like ring them up to get them to confirm what age you should use - and if they want you to use 65 and that makes the policy more expensive you can move on to the next one on the list.0
