There's no way that sale will be completed through ebay.
Email address to ask for details. Quite often the trademark of a hijacked account, it has to be said.My TV is broken!
Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j0 -
so how would they get the money?

Well... if you give him the benefit of the doubt and assume he's a fee avoider, and not a scammer, payment would probably be as per the listing terms.
If it was a scam... chances are they'd try to sign you up to a fake escrow site, or if you're extra specially lucky, they'd try the old advance fee fraud on you.
I'm not amazingly au fait with the tricks people play on ebay motors, but I would not be tempted by this apparently too good to be true listing with an added contact email address and no feedback for selling anything worth more than about a tenner.
If I had a throwaway email account I didn't care about, I'd email him to find out what the catch is.My TV is broken!

you also have to watch.not unknown for them to post a cheap auction knowing they will get interest on a flash motor.
buyer shows up and gets robbed of the cash
had someone i knew selling a car,guy came round taking pics to show a friend.
next thing he knows theres pictures of his car listed on ebay! now it may have been innocent and the guy was trying ot get a higher price than he was selling for and get money for nothing.
either way he sold the car and reported the listing0 -
