Parking Eye Aldi Leek

Hi folks.
My parents went into Aldi in Leek and stayed for half an hour. They said they couldnt find the machine to enter their registration number in the store, they said it wasn't clearly marked.

I've read that Parking Eye are effectively con men and that my parents shouldn't pay the fine.

Should they pay or not?

Thanks in advance!!!

You need to educate them very quickly about this company and make sure they understand that staying out of any car park where they operate will save them time and money.

Any business that has them in the car park is making it very clear indeed to ordinary decent people that they do not want your business and would prefer you go somewhere else.

This is money saving advice and will save anyone following it money sooner or later, this comapny is simply not to be trusted and huge amounts of evidence supports that stance.

They now have a mountain to push to try and keep their cash, all they wanted to do was some shopping and got this instead.

Please sit them down and make sure they know to stay out and stay away in future.

Ok, so I read through the stuff Ralph-y pointed me to and I'm just more confused! Do I just get them to email ParkingEye with that template letter?

My parents are going to the store today to mention their concerns to the management

    :)

don't worry it takes a bit to sink in .....

    so ...

yes send the BPA template ... the blue one .....

you can send it in their name

remember send it as is .....

and take a screen shot as proof .....

when they go to see the manager tell them to be firm , take any receipts ....

take pictures of the signage and of the registration machine ... if they can find it ...

do not accept the 'they can do nothing' because they CAN ...

wish your parents good luck from me .......

Yes, get them to copy and paste and send the BPA template in blue to parking lie exactly as it is. Make sure they do not miss the appeal deadline.

In addition get them to complain to the store manager (not customer services) that they want the ticket cancelled or they and everyone they know will become ex customers. Make sure they take receipts and bank statements to show how much business the store is going to lose.

Good for you, but hundreds of thousands of people have, despite reading the rules and attempting to comply. That's why this forum exists.
