Sealing Tiles in Bathroom

Hi All,
I need to put a seal over tiles and grout in bathroom. I have re-done all the grout and sealant round corners/ bath, but the shower wall gets a beating so I want to be sure it's properly waterproofed.
Can you recommend any products to do this, to seal the grout? Plumber painted on a clear varnish in my mother's shower but I have no idea what I should be looking for...
Thanks!

Did you not use grout that is designed to be waterproof out the pack?0

The only grout that's 100% water proof is epoxy
The term water proof found on all ready mixed/ dry powder packets means it won't break down underwater . It will still allow water to pass
Adhesive is exactly the same. Tanking behind the tiles is a mustHi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure0 -
Most would use additives etc in substrate, tile adhesive etc e,g swimming pools etc each layer adding to water resistance
You can use paint/sealers such as those for marine /underwater environments (will depend on tile etc as to effectiveness and lifetime, how hard wearing etc ) Plenty of domestic tile paints out there things like ronseal one coat tile paint / and Grout Pens Although some would say they fall in the resistant more than waterproof some rave about it some don’t
