Still paying direct debit for double glazing 14 yrs later

Just wondered if anyone knows if this is right or legal?
My partner signed up for double glazing 14 years ago.
He didn't read the small print and has been paying £65 a month since. The main point is it has no date to when his payment will be paid in full?
So our worry is how to stop it?
Or it could go on forever.
We would be grateful for any advise.

So you still have the paperwork?
Does the paperwork say anything, if not an end date, as to % interest, total cost, anything else about finances?0 -
I'm not sure I'll have a look for the paperwork and get back to you.
Thank you for replying0 -
That's nearly £11,000, which is a lot, but nobody knows whether it's too much as we don't know what was done and what the payment terms were. You could stop paying and see if the DG company contacts you to ask for payment, but checking the paperwork would be a better idea.0

Who buys DG with a credit agreement over 14+ years??"You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0

Hi all found some paper work.
He bought the double glazing with a firm that used GE home lending in July 2007.
I can't find any of the original paperwork only statements from 2009.
Original amount of credit £3,580
Monthly payments £65.92 from what I've found they take different amounts for interest from £50?
There is no mention of interest percentage.
The latest statement I've found is 2013 payments have come down but still the lowest interest is from £40?
Balance is then £2,160.40
I can't find anymore.
He told me about it but won't discuss it with me so I was wrong with the date.
I thought it was from when he bought the house.
That's why I'm trying to see where he stands?0 -
He obviously isn't that worried if he won't discuss it with you. It's his debt and his problem. If he ever gets his head out of the sand he could find out the current balance and pay it off - even taking out a bank loan to do so sounds cheaper than what he is currently paying.0

£3580 of credit with £11k paid - that's suffering a LOT of interest. Call the lender and ask for a statement of the account0

GE Home lending seem to be a mortgage provider0

That seems to show that they did finance double glazing in the past.0
